
Visit of the Military School Director and Students to Autonomous Port of Nouadhibou
July 15, 2025, the General Director, Mr. Ahmed Ould Sid’Ahmed Ould DIÉ welcomed a delegation from the Military School, headed by the school director and accompanied by a group of students. This visit was part of the educational and training program organized by the school for its students. The visit began with a field tour that included the port's most important facilities. Students observed the container and general cargo terminals. The guides explained the operational mechanisms of these vital facilities, and students closely watched the modern equipment used in loading and unloading operations. The director of the Military School expressed his pleasure with this visit, emphasizing that it forms an essential part of the students' educational program. He added that such visits help expand students' scientific horizons and connect theoretical learning with practical application. On the sidelines of the visit, the Port Director hosted a lunch banquet in honour of the guests. Friendly conversations were exchanged between students and personnel. At the conclusion of the visit, the Military School Director presented a commemorative gift to the Port. Both parties emphasized the importance of continuing this constructive cooperation and maintaining such visits that contribute to enhancing the younger generation's knowledge of the country's vital facilities and developmental achievements.
